The Slavs

Two rival villages struggle for survival in the woods of medieval Russia. One side, a young mystic by the name of Draha succeeds in saving the life of an unconscious stranger, inducing rage from a scheming and powerful sorcerer set on manipulating the neighboring ruler while the fearless Avar tribe threaten their very existence.

When the Gord finds the stranger guilty of a girl's murder, his fate is left in the hands of the gods as well as Carad's. In Farnau, Raduz's hopes of producing an heir seem to materialize, but new threats seem to foment from within.

Following the release of Vlad, Belo discovers an ancient relic that summons memories in the stranger;s mind. Meanwhile, Lada's and Carad's respective plots start unraveling as tension and political intrigues begin to take over.

When the Avars finally arrive at the outskirts of Great Table, Vlad's true identity as a warrior is discovered, and he turns against the Gords' corrupt elites. In Farnau, Carad's sorcery backfires, and Lada's fate now hangs on a thread.

An old friend from the past comes to Lada's rescue and invites her to meet Belo. Vlad becomes increasingly popular among the people of Great Table, and suspicions arise against Carad, the true enemy of the Gords.

Finally, aware of his illustrious past in the land of Francs, Vlad takes on a journey back home, only to encounter shadows from his troubled past.

In a flashback, Vlad heads on a new path to the East. Draha and her friends seek the aid of gods in their fight against Carad's black magic.

With the summer solstice approaching, Great Table is thrown into political turmoil in their search for a new chieftain. Meanwhile, Raduz manages to extend his power over the land during the solstice celebration, a mass orgy of the Slavs that will lead to new unexpected revelations.

The Avar army finally arrives, throwing both Gords in disarray, and leaving Raduz with no choice but to welcome the invaders with open arms. In Great Table, Carad controls the villagers with an iron fist, while Vlad lingers between the path of vengeance and saving his new friends.

Great Table prepares for all-out war with the Avars, forcing a divide between those who desire to fight and those who'd rather die. Vlad intends to use his wit and past experience in France to defeat an unbeatable enemy.

With the alliance of Avars and Raduz's army now fully consumed, Great Table must unite behind their new chieftain and fight off the barbarian invaders. Warriors and sorcerers, friends and lovers must all battle for the fate of the Slavic people with a little help of magic and spells.
