Like so many of these tragedies it all seems to start so innocently, nothing to set alarm bells ringing. She wanted to be a teacher, but worked in Hooters for the money. He saw himself as a good guy, but was obsessed with guns and control. The problem was Troy thought he had paid for Alyssa, she just saw it as a job. His obsession became Alyssa.

Johanna Justin Jinich and Stephen Morgan enrolled on the same summer course at New York University. From the moment Morgan saw her, Johanna's life was in danger. Johanna was young,Jewish and happy to be at university. Stephen was a loner who became obsessed with her, she was everything he hated.
