Watch NowCheating on your spouse is already a terrible idea. Cheating on your spouse with someone who has a habit of killing unfaithful men? Congratulations, you've somehow made an awful decision even worse. Marriage counseling isn't going to fix this one.
Now streaming free on Tubi, One Night Stand follows Jaylen Burns, a married man whose night of infidelity introduces him to Eve, a mysterious woman with a deadly agenda. What he expects to remain a secret encounter becomes a nightmare when Eve begins inserting herself into his life, threatening his career, his pregnant wife, and everything he's desperate to protect. One night was clearly nowhere near enough for her.
Jaylen has entered the worst game of damage control imaginable. Tell the truth, and his marriage could fall apart. Keep lying, and Eve has even more room to make herself comfortable in a life she was never supposed to enter. Every attempt to get ahead of the situation seems to give her another advantage, turning one reckless night into a battle over who gets to call the shots. Dangerous secrets have a way of turning relationships into mysteries of their own, a familiar thread in our look at seven thrillers filled with suspicious relationships and hidden agendas.
Infidelity, dangerous secrets, and a woman who refuses to disappear quietly make One Night Stand a fitting addition to Tubi's Thrillers collection, where trusting the wrong person rarely ends well. Between the deadly obsession and a husband whose questionable judgment has put everyone in danger, this is one relationship drama that's traded couples therapy for survival mode.
Eve knows how to turn someone's weakness into an advantage, and Rose takes on a villain whose calculating nature makes her every move worth questioning. Her interest in unfaithful men makes Jaylen an especially vulnerable target, while her ability to exploit his fear of exposure gives her a disturbing amount of influence. Eve doesn't need an elaborate disguise to become threatening. Knowing exactly what Jaylen stands to lose is dangerous enough.
Jaylen is a man whose confidence in his ability to keep a secret is about to receive a very unpleasant reality check. Ford takes on a character caught between guilt, fear, and the instinct to protect what he has left. His increasingly desperate circumstances give Ford a central character whose decisions can be difficult to defend, even when the danger surrounding him makes it impossible not to wonder what he'll do next. He may have made the first bad decision, but getting himself out of trouble will require much better ones.
Detective Saint adds another investigative perspective to the thriller, with Sims taking on a character tasked with navigating a case complicated by secrets and conflicting interests. Saint's involvement introduces the broader question of what happened and who is responsible. Personal explanations can only go so far when the police start asking questions.
Detective Keets introduces a more methodical presence to a story driven by panic and deception. Tibbets portrays an investigator whose responsibility is to follow the evidence rather than accept anyone's carefully arranged version of events. As the investigation develops, Keets represents the possibility that Jaylen's attempts to keep his personal life private may not survive closer scrutiny.
