Witchcore Is Having a Moment and Tubi Has the Dress Code

From Technicolor glamour to dark academia and Y2K spellcasting, five movies and shows on Tubi prove there’s more than one way to dress for your witch era.

Pointy hats? Optional. Black cats? Encouraged. A wardrobe that suggests you might know your way around a spell book? Suddenly very in.

Fashion has entered its witch era, and the mood board is much bigger than head-to-toe black. Witchcore can be romantic and hyper-feminine, polished and retro, dark and academic, or look suspiciously like your favorite late-'90s teen just discovered magic. The spell is less about dressing as a witch and more about dressing like you have somewhere mysterious to be after sunset. We’ve already built a witchy watchlist with our Practical Magic 2 article. Now we're raiding the wardrobe.

Tubi's Witchcraft & Covens collection has plenty of spells, supernatural trouble, and very good outfit inspiration waiting inside. So whether your closet says Technicolor enchantress, supernatural prep-school menace, or suburban witch who could absolutely hex you before dinner, there's a screen style waiting to be summoned.

Pick your witchcore.

The Love Witch

Elaine does not believe in subtlety. Thank goodness.

Anna Biller's The Love Witch turns witchcraft into a Technicolor fantasy of vintage dresses, dramatic eye makeup, long flowing hair, lace, statement jewelry, and enough jewel tones to make beige nervous. Samantha Robinson's Elaine is searching for a man who will love her completely, using spells and potions to help things along. Her wardrobe makes the same demand for attention she does.

The result is retro glamour witchcore turned all the way up. Elaine's hyper-feminine styling pulls from an idealized version of the '60s and '70s, where beauty itself becomes part of the spell. Copy the dramatic makeup, velvet, lace, and rich colors. Maybe leave the love potions at home. Some accessories are harder to return than others.

The Witches of Eastwick

One witchy wardrobe is fun. Three women discovering their power at the same time? Now we have a coven.

Cher, Susan Sarandon, and Michelle Pfeiffer bring three distinct personalities to The Witches of Eastwick, where Alexandra, Jane, and Sukie unknowingly summon a mysterious new man into their small town after describing their ideal partner. The supernatural complications arrive soon enough, but so does an extremely satisfying parade of big hair, flowing silhouettes, rich textures, oversized '80s shapes, and grown-woman glamour.

Call it coven chic. Nobody needs to dress identically for the energy to match. The trio's individual looks make the case for witchcore as a shared mood rather than a uniform: dramatic, confident, slightly unruly, and more interesting once everyone realizes the power they have.

Bewitched

Samantha Stephens could probably hex the entire neighborhood before lunch. She'd just prefer a fabulous dress while doing it.

Bewitched gives witchcore its polished suburban branch through Samantha, a powerful witch attempting to live an ordinary married life despite magic having other plans. Elizabeth Montgomery's effortless charm makes Samantha's supernatural abilities feel almost as natural as her impeccably styled wardrobe, where colorful dresses, playful prints, coordinated separates, and perfectly coiffed hair make everyday witchcraft look suspiciously elegant.

This is retro everyday witchcore for anyone whose magical alter ego has absolutely no interest in lurking around a candlelit crypt. Samantha's style is bright, feminine, and put-together without needing obvious occult signifiers to sell the fantasy.

The Covenant

Who said the witchcore mood board belonged exclusively to the girls?

The Covenant takes supernatural power to prep school, following four young men descended from colonial families with a very powerful secret running through their bloodlines. Magic here comes packaged with uniforms, leather jackets, dark layers, moody New England scenery, and enough brooding to power a small town. Long before TikTok gave dark academia a name, these warlocks were already doing the homework.

The movie's supernatural prep aesthetic gives witchcore a moodier, more masculine lane where polished schoolwear collides with occult family history. Think dark knits, structured jackets, layered neutrals, and the general aura of someone who has both an exam and an ancient supernatural obligation at 8 a.m.

Teen Sorcery

The late '90s called. They would like their witchcore back.

Magic meets high-school hierarchy in Teen Sorcery, where supernatural power enters a world already filled with cliques, crushes, and the very particular fashion choices of being a teenager at the edge of the millennium. Suddenly, witchcraft has traded sweeping gothic gowns for youthful layers, teen accessories, and the kind of styling that feels ready for a mall trip immediately after casting a spell.

Y2K witchcore makes for a fitting final stop, especially now that fashion is raiding the era all over again. Teen Sorcery lets the supernatural come along for the revival, with a look that's younger, brighter, and less polished than our other witches; proof that your coven can contain both ancient magic and something you definitely bought at the mall.

Turns out every era gets the witches it deserves.
