Lyndey & Herbie's Moveable Feast

Lyndey and Herbie immerse themselves in the natural environment of the coast and hinterland. Using local produce, they cook spiced turkey breast and delicious Asian prawns.

In Byron, Lyndey and Herbie enjoy macadamias and grab coffee beans direct from the source. They cook up muesli, pork tapas with local beer, and a blood orange meringue dessert.

In Queensland's Sunshine Coast, we begin with a ginger fiesta: a tour of the Buderim Ginger Factory and some delicious 'ginger, cardamom and mango crepes'.

In the Sunshine Coast, Lyndey meets a great character who breeds water buffalo, and combined with a local trumpet player's cheese, she creates her 'spiced bocconcini salad'.

The Riverina area is a flourishing food bowl. Lyndey and Herbie use local ingredients to make 'slow roasted Tunisian spiced lamb', Herbie's fish curry and a sour cherry parfait.

The Hawkesbury area in NSW is a mecca for food and wine lovers. With produce from farms growing Asian greens, Lyndey and Herbie make a salad and a hot and sour soup to die for.

The delights of Tasmania include a garden kitchen and cooking school where Lyndey and Herbie create Gnocchi using, amongst other things, garden weeds!
