In the near future, high school students Lisa Sakakino and Lorna Endo are also éX-Drivers. If an AI car begins to run out of control, éx-Drivers must stop it without causing any accidents. One night, an illegally modified AI car appeared and just as Lisa begins to chase it her car is wrecked!

While Lisa and Lorna find themselves in a predicament, Souichi Sugano, a young boy appears! He is younger than the two, but due to his genius nature, he skipped grades and became their classmate! Lisa doesn't want him to join their team as an éX-Driver, so she challenges him on the test course, but loses easily. Just then an AI car carrying test exams for their high school begins to go out of control!

One day, a TV station sent a crew to the éX-D Headquarters to interview Lisa, Lorna, and the others. Moreover, once Lisa knew the interviewer was none other than Keyne Tokioka, she became really excited. As usual, Lorna was indifferent, but she was selected to be the one primarily interviewed...

AI cars are lined up at both ends of the road as a runaway AI car is running in between! Lisa, Lorna, and Souichi are in pursuit, but due to Lisa's carelessness, they are running late. A motorcycle rushes over to stop the runaway! The rider of the motorcycle, was also an éX-Driver, an éX-Rider!

Thanks to the efforts of éX-Drivers, there are fewer accidents with runaway AI cars. Lisa and Lorna get to go to on vacation and head to the beach! As their luck would have it, a traffic jam occurs due to a runaway car. But this was no ordinary runaway car, it was unmanned and was running a mysterious program!

Todo, who used to work for Munakata, and his friends challenged the éX-Drivers! Lisa was provoked by their actions but got seriously injured. Furthermore, Lorna's car was severely damaged. With Lisa and Lorna unable to dispatch, Todo declares war on Munakata...?
