TIGER: BEAR DOG (Northern British Columbia) Tiger, a 6-year-old Great Pyrenees, guards 1500 sheep against bear attacks in the beautiful mountain wilderness on the B.C./Alaska border. KLONDIKE: HERD DOG? (Philomont, Virginia) Klondike is an Old English Sheep dog who has been too busy being groomed in Miami to test out his herding genes-until now.

POPSICLE: DRUG-BUST DOG (Roma, Texas) This pitbull named Popsicle once belonged to a drug dealer who tried to kill him. Rescued by the police in a drug raid, Popsicle now catches drug dealers on the Mexico/Texas border. HARVEY: DOG WANTS JOB (Fort Thomas, Kentucky) Harvey, a West Highland terrier puppy, turns a one-day visit to a seniors' home into a full time job. TATTIE: GOOSE BUSTER (Hudson, Ohio) Tattie the border collie keeps a golf course clear of Canada geese and knows never to interrupt a game, or play with the golf balls.

TILLY: PEACE-KEEPER (Pretoria, South Africa) Tilly, a border collie, has investigated more than 400 fires, including the fire that almost halted the South African Truth and Reconciliation Hearings. MURPHY: FREELANCE THERAPIST (Madison, Wisconsin) Murphy is a golden retriever so sensitive he can provide the exact phyisical therapy little children need to walk. MADISON: BAKERY DOG (Toronto) Madison is a six-month-old lab puppy who has joined two other canine employees at an upscale bakery full of goodies for dogs.

TOKKOLOS: BIG CAT PARENT (Namibia) Tokkolos is a male Jack Russell Terrier who has the job of being Mom to orphaned lion and cheetah cubs at a remote African animal sanctuary. BARKLEY: DISASTER DOG (Vancouver, BC.) Barkley, a loveable golden retriever, takes risks as he trains for search-and-rescue missions. ROOKIE: BEAGLE BRIGADE (Montreal, Quebec) Rookie the beagle works at Mirabel airport sniffing for contraband food, from a forgotten apple to a smuggled sausage from the homeland.

GINNY: THE DOG WHO RESCUES CATS (New York City) Ginny has a thing for cats, especially cats in need of help. Every night, Ginny and her owner rescue injured or abandoned cats in New York City. BASIL: SHEEP HERDER (New South Wales, Australia) Basil, an Australian Kelpie, is fast -he's got the Eye" of a herding dog and he doesn't just control the sheep from the ground, he also runs over their backs. With the help of five other Kelpies, Basil looks after 8,000 merino sheep in the outback.

ROWDY: TV STAR (Hollywood) Rowdy is the lead star of the hit TV show 100 Deeds for Eddie McDowd. This mutt is very good at acting as if he can talk, a skill that keeps him employed. WIZARD: RESTAURANT DOG (Cape Town, South Africa) Wizard, a golden retriever, works as a waiter and a service dog for restaurant-owner Heidi Vilma, who’s been in a wheelchair since a car accident. Wizard has become a celebrity and now people come in for a meal just to meet him. RIO: BASEBALL DOG (San Francisco) Rio, a Portuguese water dog, is the captain of BARK: Baseball Aquatic Retriever Korps. He and the other dogs retrieve balls batted into the Bay at San Francisco Giants games.

TOMBRE: SPECIAL COMPANION (Portland, Oregon) Tombre helps Tom, a physically and mentally disabled young man, come out of his shell. Tom's family can't heap enough praise on this lab-retriever who’s changed all of their lives. ROSA: FRISBEE DOG (Japan) Rosa is a seven-year-old Japanese Labrador and a pro Frisbee player. Her athletic ability takes her all the way from Tokyo to Syracuse, New York, for the canine Frisbee championships. GABE: CAMP COUNSELOR (Fraser Canyon, British Columbia) Gabe is a golden retriever who works at Camp Ruffin' It. He welcomes new campers, participates in workshops on first aid, arts and crafts , and he loves to supervise lake swimming.

MacKenzie: GUIDE DOG (Oakville, Ont.) Cheryl has recently become legally blind. MacKenzie is the seeing eye dog who wins her heart and trust during an intensive training period. By the time they graduate together from the Canine Vision Canada program, they’ve formed an unbreakable bond. BEAR: LIFE GUARD DOG (The Cotswolds, England) Newfoundlands are large, gentle dogs and born swimmers who love kids. So, it should be second nature for Bear to help train teen lifeguards at this water park. But he takes his time getting into the swim of things! TESS & BLUE: ELK HERDERS (Banff, Alberta) Every fall, Banff fills with elk. It’s a spectacular sight, but they’ve injured a number of people. Tess and Blue are border collies who herd the elk back into the wilds.

FAY WRAY: ARTIST’S MUSE (New York City) Weimeraner Fay Wray is a canine Mona Lisa who lives on in artist William Wegman’s world-famous photographs and videos. Her puppies, now grown, are following in her footsteps as models, but she remains Wegman’s original muse. JAKE: ECO-DOG (St. John, New Brunswick) As a Coast Guard employee, Jake, a loyal German shepherd, is trained to spring into action from speedboats and helicopters as he pursues poachers. TOBY: HIGH SCHOOL GUARDIAN (California) Toby makes random visits to schools to sniff out drugs and firearms. Since students never know when he’ll show up, his presence works as an effective deterrent.

MARTY AND THE MADCAP MUTTS (New Jersey) Marty is the star of The Madcap Mutts, a dazzling troop made up of dogs rescued from shelters. The mutts now travel the U.S. and deliver crowd-pleasing shows wherever they go. TASHA: SUPER SERVICE DOG (Seattle) Tasha is a shepherd mix who works with 17-year-old Stephanie, pulling her wheelchair and helping her with everyday tasks. These two are so close that Tasha can detect Stephanie’s epileptic seizures before they happen. NANA: AGILE AKITA (Tokyo, Japan) An Akita with a history of biting, Nana has to learn obedience and agility –and do it fast, if she wants to stay with her family in Tokyo.

YUKON: AVALANCHE DOG (Switzerland) Yukon is an American-Canadian white shepherd who works in the Alps to rescue skiers and snowboarders caught in avalanches. When he manages to sniff out a snowboarder buried under five feet of show, he wins a friend for life. BIGGLES: LEADER OF THE PACK (England) Biggles is the leader of a pack of bloodhounds. Biggles and company follow their noses in a popular new kind of hunt through the English countryside. KODAK: DAREDEVIL (Wisconsin) A German shepherd called Kodak trains to make the daring leap across a chasm in the Wisconsin Dells where dogs have been entertaining tourists for generations.

JOHNNY AND THE SLED DOGS (Wyoming) Johnny heads up a team of huskies in one of the most difficult races in the world: a grueling 500-mile race through the mountains of Wyoming. Rachel, who’s driving the dogs, is the race’s youngest competitor at only 15. BOZO: ASSISTANCE DOG (Montreal) Bozo is a Labernois a new cross-breed between a Lab and a Bouvier Bernois. His owner Chantal Jutras is in a wheelchair due to a muscular disease. Bozo works with Chantal night and day and even helps her do her job at the bank. FLIP-FLOP SURFER (UK) Flip-Flop is a four-year-old mutt who gets suited up to brave the cold British seas with his owner David Samuel.
