Christmas has arrived at The Repair Shop! Jay Blades and our team of passionate and skilled crafts people are beavering away like busy Christmas elves repairing and rescuing beloved festive treasures. A rusted, dilapidated Chopper bike brings brothers Glenn and Andrew to the barn this year. Once one of the most coveted Christmas presents by children of the 1960's and 70's. This nostalgic blast from the past is completely overhauled and the excitement of one special Christmas morning is re lived by the brothers.Welcomed into the barn is a treasured but tired harmonium, once the centrepiece of a Welsh family's festive celebrations. Now broken and battered, it has sadly stood silent for years. The team pull together, and bring the family to tears when they hear it play their favourite Christmas carols for the first time in decades.88-year-old Beryl brings her beloved bear and companion into the Repair Shop. She's hoping her thread bare friend, a reminder of wartime childhood and lost loved ones can be rescued by the talented team.Also delivered into the barn is a broken down clockwork train set. A busted motor and missing wheels, have this iconic 60's toy at a standstill. A sprinkle of Repair Shop magic gets it chugging around the tree in time for Christmas.  The Repair Shop at Christmas is the festive fairy tale celebrating the season of joy and giving, proving that 'make do and mend' is still a philosophy to live by after all these years.
