T04:C07 - S04:E07 - Episode 7

Nicole is a busy woman. She's a magazine publisher, software teacher, website designer, community organizer and a pan-African cultural promoter who's not slowing down because she's pregnant with her second child. Her partner Paul is a community events coordinator with a flexible schedule which allows him to spend a lot of time caring for their son. Nicole's first birth was fast and furious, she and her mid-wife are keeping their fingers crossed that the second time around will be more relaxed. Lee's contractions have started, she's in a lot of discomfort but tries to stay at home as long as she can. At the hospital, Lee becomes very upset when she discovers her labor is progressing very slowly. Her mid-wife breaks her water hoping it will speed things up. Lee is at the end of her rope. After an epidural and a couple hours of rest, Lee is ready to push. Her daughter is born and Lee fulfills her dream and puts all her fears to rest. Chelsea is in a bad mood. She and her boyfriend had a fight and they are no longer on speaking terms. Meanwhile, she's having contractions. Her mother Dixie gets home from work and decides to take Chelsea to the hospital. After an examination, Chelsea is sent home - it's not her time yet.
