Thanksgiving Angel Thanksgiving 1969 was a difficult day for Ivy Olson, a 25-year-old divorced mother of two young children. Broke and feeling all alone, all she could offer her kids for their holiday meal was a hotdog. Unexpectedly, a neighbor she had never met before invited her and her children over for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. The elderly woman made Ivy feel comfortable and loved. However, when Ivy returned to the womanÍs apartment the following day to thank her, it was vacant. Her landlord told her no one had lived there for months. Blind Skydiver Sees Josie Paille, a middle-aged mother, accepted her brotherÍs challenge to make a tandem parachute jump with a trained instructor. There was a reason behind her brotherÍs dare: Josie Paille was legally blind in one eye and going blind in the other. Her brother wanted Josie to enjoy the thrill while she could. Josie made the jump that day, and the next morning she work up and miraculously she had her vision back. Thanksgiving Feeding Needy Members of a church in Blytheville, Arkansas devoted Thanksgiving Day of 1986 to taking care of the less fortunate in their community. After spending the day feeding a steady stream of needy neighborÍs traditional Thanksgiving meals, the volunteers miraculously found that they never ran out of food. After finally cleaning the kitchen and leaving the facility spotless, the tired food serves prepared to go home. Just then, a hungry family showed up at the front door, but there was no more foodƒor so they thought. Miraculously, food appeared where there hadnÍt been any before, and the family was able to enjoy a holiday meal together. African Hijack Dramatic home video captures hijacked Ethiopian Air Flight 961 as it crashes into the Indian Ocean off the East African coastline. 127 of its 175 passengers were killed. An American couple who miraculously survived the ill-fated flight, details their remarkable story.
